DESCRIPTION
Antique illustration of early middle ages Gaul-Roman house, reconstruction made for the Universal Exposition held in Paris (1889). The two-floor residential building is made out of stone blocks and features doorways and windows with arches and also some decoration made reusing ancient Roman columns and capitals (and likely using the base of an ancient Roman building).
